Portrait Session with Freddie

Portrait Session with Freddie

I met Freddie through a close friend, Hayden. He is represented by Angie’s models and has an incredible look. Although he mostly does acting, he also does modelling. We did two shoots together in one evening. We started with some portfolio shots in studio and then did some fun fashion photos outside.

Carolyn did Freddie’s makeup before the session. She kept is so natural that you can’t tell he is wearing any. She make his skin complexion flawless. Carolyn is amazing at what she does.

I had a lot of fun working with Freddie on posing. I directed the posing for the studio shoot and he did all the posing himself when we were shooting outside. It was a great balance.

As you can see, Freddie is amazing at giving a variety of expressions. I find actors are especially great at being natural in front of the camera. They are used to showing their range of emotions and take no time at all to get into character for photos. It’s an amazing thing.

Freddie nailed these! He even removed a for sale sign from the house behind him for these shots and put it back up after. What a gentleman! It took us a couple of tries to get these with minimumFreddie17FBlog motion blur but we got it on our 4th try. Freddie never complained and was super patient with me.

I was happy to get a photo of him smiling. We were mostly doing fashion looks which in our case didn’t require a smile. But he has such a warm smile I was happy we got a least one photo of it.
