Love is a beautiful thing to witness, and capturing it through my lens is one of the greatest joys of being a photographer. Tamara and Humberto’s couple session was a perfect reminder of how love is not just something we feel—it’s something we express, something we move through, something we dance in.
This Valentine’s Day, Tamara surprised Humberto with a portrait session, a thoughtful gift to celebrate their love. As a married couple with two young children, their connection runs deep, and it was incredible to see how effortlessly they expressed their bond. Having previously photographed Tamara and her mother for a family session years ago, I was thrilled to have her back in front of my camera—this time, with the love of her life.
What made this session even more special was the way Tamara and Humberto brought their shared passion for dance into their portraits. Every movement was filled with joy, trust, and affection. The way they held each other, spun, and laughed together was pure magic. Their energy was infectious, making the entire shoot feel lighthearted and full of life.
Beyond their beautiful chemistry, Tamara and Humberto were also a joy to work with. They followed posing instructions with ease, but more importantly, they brought their own natural warmth and love into every frame. It was impossible not to smile while photographing them.
Sessions like these remind me why I love what I do—freezing moments of pure happiness, connection, and love in time. I’m so grateful to have captured these memories for Tamara and Humberto and can’t wait to share the stunning portraits from this session.
