If Mel looks familiar to you that’s because she is awesome. Also might be because we have shot previously together before and you may have seen those photos. Mel reached out to me when she was starting to put the final touches on a new business she has now launched called Big Stride. She offers help with business growth strategies and marketing. For Mel’s look, Fatima Abeduljalil, did both her hair and makeup. Mel brought a bunch of epic vintage dresses. I love that Fatima gave Mel a vintage styled hair style. It looks adorable on her.
Mel’s use for these portraits are for her website and social media content. We tried to give her as much range in posing, clothing changes and background changes to give the portraits as much diversity as possible without restyling her hair and makeup. I think we nailed it!
I loved this outfit above. I am completely loving her faux leather paints. Super hip of Mel! She’s a fashionable lady.
