25 Feb Fashionable Grad Portraits
I can’t count how many times I get really cool portrait session requests that I legit get excited to do. Danica, a young retired model and soon-to-be university graduate, wrote me inquiring about booking a fashion inspired graduation session. She was speaking my language! Having been a model, she had a clear idea of what she wanted and I knew with confidence we could together get the portraits she wanted. She booked me for an hour session and we had a blast!
We started with the basic graduation portraits that her family would love. They are more traditional but capture her achievements perfectly.
She brought a beautiful red dress so we matched it with a vibrant light blue background. She is a natural in front of the camera so we had a real rhythm to our shooting. We were able to capture more in our hour together than most because of her years of experience.
And we did beauty shots too! I have missed doing portraits a lot while being stuck many months in self isolation so I was really happy to shoot again. She was my first client since we were allowed to reopen.
AND here are a few more graduation shots with different backgrounds. Variety is the spice of life and I love everything spicy… now I am craving Indian food. Great.
