You have seen Bex grace my blog before and I liked our last shoot so much we did another one together. She has a really bubbly personality that makes you feel like you have known her for years and it’s just hanging out with a friend. Also, she has beautiful feminine curves that make photographing her really fun!
How beautiful is she?! No need to answer that. Simply put, she’s stunning! One thing I adore about Bex is she is totally comfortable with her body. This is very rare in today’s society, sadly. Many women I photograph tell me about their least favourite body parts, so I have a better idea how to photograph them to their liking. Most of these least favoured body parts are actually really beautiful, but they don’t see it that way. Sure, we all have our insecurities and that’s ok. But, wouldn’t the world be a better place if media at large didn’t indirectly (or directly) tell us what beauty standards are? Beauty isn’t a set standard that we all should try to fit into, because that’s impossible to do. Even professional models in commercial campaigns/advertisements don’t always look like their portraits after editing. And if a 17-year old “ideal” model can’t meet those standards, then can anyone, really? Everyone has their own beauty and this shouldn’t be compared to others!
I think it’s awesome that every time I photograph Rebecca she has a different shade of colour in her hair. I think this red really suits her. A big thank you to Bed for being our model for this shoot. To see more of her work, click the link below:
