11 May Actor Headshots with Evelyn and Kimberly
I really enjoy working with local actors to create strong actor headshots. Today’s blog I will be sharing the portraits I captured of Evelyn and her mom, Kimberly. Evelyn was due for some new headshots and while Kimberly was present at the shoot we did a few portraits of her to add to her already very strong portfolio of portraits. Actors need headshots quite regularly especially younger actors like Evelyn who is quickly growing into a beautiful woman. It was a lot of fun shooting with these two.
Evelyn and Kimberly came prepared with a few outfits to create portraits portraying them as different characters. This look above was Evelyn’s fun “young and hip” look. Evelyn has such a beautiful smile, it was so easy to photograph her.
The next outfit was a cute pink sweater with the youthful hair clip in her hair. I believe this was her girl next door innocent look.
Then we did a “book smart” intelligent young lady look. Glasses are usually very hard to photograph because of reflection and glare but these glasses were awesome. I had no problems at all.
I was blown away by the range in outfits Evelyn brought. I loved her vibrant active wear. She does look like a young athlete.
Then we dove into my client wardrobe racks and paired this beautiful green jacket I bought from Value Village with some green earrings I have. I really love the colour green so I often buy clothing in that colour. The green jacket really looks amazing on Evelyn.
Evelyn had this really cool black hat that reminds me of the style women wear while riding horses so I paired it was a tweed jacket I also bought from Value Village. You can get some amazing finds at thrift stores. Its dangerous for me because I buy clothing in every size for potential clients so things can get out of hand quickly.
And finally, here’s the beautiful actor Kimberly. She is so gorgeous like her daughter. They are both very photogenic so my job was extra easy.
