Beauty editorial with Sophia and Margaux

Makeup is not a mask.
Makeup is art.
Makeup is passion.
Makeup is expression.

Last week I was starting to feel restless. I shortly discovered it was because I didn’t have any creative shoots planned for the week and it made me feel a bit empty. I had a very busy work week so with a full schedule it can be a challenge to find time to do other things. Luckily I had a solution. Shoot! Sunday was the only day unaccounted for so I reached out to my team and we created two different beauty editorial looks.

Our first model was Margaux from Angie’s Models. Fatima did both the hair and makeup.  We wanted bold blue eye shadow with a nude/purple lip. Hair down and softly falling out of a bun. Fatima did an amazing job. Earrings for both looks were from a local jewellery designer, Mila, who owns Vardi Design. Her earrings are elegant and surprisingly super light weight.

Margaux was such a pleasure to work with. She is very quiet in nature but comes alive on set. She moves from pose to pose very naturally. Working with Angie’s models is so refreshing. They are very skilled and professional – a photographer’s dream.

Our second model was the stunning,  Sophia from Angie’s models. For this look we were going for a pinup look with bold bright red lips and smokey eye. Red bandana in the hair. Paired that with gold stud earrings from Vardi Design. I adored this look.

I got a lot of people saying this look resembled Snow White. It was unintentional but I could definitely see that. Sophia was super fun to work with. We chatted a lot while the first look was being completed. She is a very likeable person. I also adore her eyes and her eye shape. Fatima did an fantastic job. I loved how she applied her eyeliner.

I hope you enjoyed my teams work. To see more of their work, click the links below.
