11 Mar Creative Exploration with Trinetra and Lily
This shoot was part of my ongoing creative experiments — a chance to play with light, test new ideas, and grow as a photographer without the pressure of expectations. It was my second creative session of this kind, and for this one, I had the pleasure of working with Trinetra and Lily.
I had worked with both of them once before, so this was our second time collaborating, and it was such a rewarding experience. Both brought their own unique energy and style to the shoot, and they complemented each other beautifully. They supported and encouraged one another throughout the session, creating such a positive and collaborative environment in the studio.
Their styles contrasted in a way that made the images more interesting and layered. Lily brought a bohemian chic vibe with her flowy shirt and effortless presence, while Trinetra leaned into a more business-grunge aesthetic that added depth and edge to the mood. Together, their individuality shone through in every frame.
For this shoot, we experimented with orange gels to shape the atmosphere and push the mood in a warmer, more cinematic direction. We focused on capturing inward expressions — those moments that feel introspective and real — while still leaving space for fun and spontaneity. Along the way, we created a few black-and-white portraits and some playful outtakes that added variety to the final collection.
Sessions like this are my favourite because they’re purely about creative growth. There’s no pressure to achieve a specific result — just space to explore, experiment, and see where the process leads. Trinetra and Lily were both wonderful collaborators, and I loved how their energy and individuality helped shape the shoot into something truly special.
