Somya is represented by Lisa from Meus Talent Agency, and from the moment she stepped into the studio, I knew this session was going to be something special. We set out to capture a mix of character-driven actor headshots alongside more traditional options, creating a gallery that reflects the full range of her personality and talent.
One of the first things you notice about Somya is her vibrant style — including her vivid blue hair, which brings so much individuality and presence to the images. Updating her headshots to reflect that bold look was one of her goals for the session, and the results feel fresh, dynamic, and completely true to who she is.
Somya is an absolute joy to photograph. She’s warm, funny, and easy to connect with, which makes the creative process flow naturally. Beyond acting, she’s also an incredibly talented musician and active artist, and that multidimensional creativity shows up in how she carries herself in front of the camera.
We played with a variety of expressions, outfits, and hairstyles throughout the shoot, exploring different sides of her personality and making sure each image felt authentic. Her funky, expressive style makes her such a strong presence on camera — every frame tells a story.
I love working with artists like Somya, whose creative energy and individuality make every shot feel alive. This session was so much fun from start to finish, and I’m thrilled with the portraits we created together.
