26 Nov Model Portfolio Session with Charles Ray
Sometimes the simplest shoots are the most enjoyable. I had the pleasure of working with Charles Ray on a model portfolio session, and it was such a relaxed, comfortable experience from start to finish.
Charles is originally from Winnipeg and recently made the move to Ottawa for a fresh start and new adventures. I really admire the courage it takes to pick up and start over in a new city. He shared stories about his hometown and how excited he is for this next chapter in Ottawa, which gave our shoot such an easygoing, conversational flow.
For his portfolio, Charles needed a set of fresh images to reflect his look and range. He was a natural in front of the camera—stylish, relaxed, and effortlessly photogenic. The transitions from pose to pose were smooth and organic, making the shoot easy and fun. The results are strong images that truly highlight his presence and potential as a model.
