Some people just walk into a space and light it up like it’s no big deal. That’s Chantal for you. From the moment she stepped into my studio, it felt like I’d known her for years—maybe in another life we were besties who traded hair secrets and laughed at the same bad jokes. She’s got that kind of energy. Warm, sparkly, and incredibly easy to photograph.

Chantal is a stunning actor (and I mean, STUNNING), with the kind of hair shampoo commercials dream of and a smile so contagious it should probably come with a warning label. We didn’t go into this shoot with a rigid plan—no strict shot list, no mood board pinned to the wall. Just some upbeat tunes, a pile of carefully chosen outfits, and two creative minds ready to see where the vibes would take us.

And let me tell you—the vibes were excellent.

We started the session grooving to the music, sorting through her clothing options like two kids playing dress-up (but make it fashion). From there, we let the magic unfold. Chantal trusted the process completely, which made it easy to capture her most authentic self: relaxed, radiant, and effortlessly charismatic. We got a great mix of headshots, full-length shots, and lots (I mean LOTS) of those signature, joy-filled smiles.

What stood out most—besides her camera-ready beauty—was how at ease she was in front of the lens. She moved naturally, laughed freely, and brought her full self to the shoot. It was an absolute dream working with someone so open, professional, and just plain fun.
