24 Jul Maternity Session with Keirstin & Skyler
Back in 2021, I had the pleasure of capturing Keirstin during her maternity. She was only few months pregnant at the time but that didn’t stop us. Her now husband, Skyler, attended the session as well. It’s awesome having men in maternity sessions. Adding another person gives you countless posing options. Since this shoot, Keirstin gave birth to a beautiful baby girl and her and Skyler recently got married. Big Congrats you two!
Let’s start with the ring photos. Skyler proposed to Keirstin shortly before our shoot, so we added some ring shots into the mix.
Keirstin requested some walking portraits of her and Skyler. I picked my favourite spot in Ottawa for portraits, the Arboretum which is a part of the Central Experimental farm. There is so much open space here, which makes the backgrounds of the portraits not crowded or distracting.
