10 Feb Valentine’s Day shoot with Katlyn
Katlyn is one of my favourite people to work with. If you follow my work, you will have most definitely seen some of the sessions we have done together over the years. Whenever I have a new concept I want to try out she is one of my main go to models to ask. She is always positive and ready to try anything. It helps that we have a very similar taste in style so we both get very excited for the concepts. This time, I wanted to do something fun for Valentine’s Day. I am very happy with how the photos turned out.
The first concept was super simple but cute. I bought a heart shaped balloon from Party Mart for about $5 and paired it with some simple cut red undies. I picked a blue background to make everything pop and used a one light setup for this photo. I like the light fall out on her legs. An added bonus was Katlyn’s fun purple hair.
The second concept was a spin off of a pinup photo I saw on Pinterest. I bought a piece of Bristol board from the dollar store and I got Katlyn to cut out a heart while I changed the background. I added my third photo of the previous concept here too. Why not show extra photos.
